Instructions for this mystery will be available in two great sizes:  Double 85" x 85"  &  Queen 103" x 103"

Quilter's Options for this mystery: You choose your own fabric for this mystery! We will give you the guidelines and you choose - no pre-selected fabrics this time!  You will also have the option: "Should I appliqué or should I not?"

The cost for Club Membership is $20 for the year (6 months) and all will receive full-colour original monthly installments.

Join us in making this beautiful floral quilt using the Wild Rose fabric collection from Maywood Studio.  The American Beauty quilt measures 84" x 104".  Both fabric and quilt pattern are designed by Marti Mitchell.  The twelve blocks look difficult but are made simple by Marti's unique instructions and tools.  Template Set L and the Multiple Size Star Sashing are recommended.  This Block of the Month will start in February 2010.  

 Stars in the Night

'Stars in the Night' is a 2-day workshop for the quilter who already has a basic knowledge of the paper piecing technique. 

Together we will make the circle with the spikes, make a beautiful colour transition and stars with an easy paper piecing technique.  We will use the sewing machine."

Learn how to make paper pieced show quilts.  Three of Jacqueline's quilts are on display in the store and are sure to inspire you to learn from her directly.  She has many beautiful patterns to choose from and you will gain confidence using lots of colour.

 Curling Colours

"I had received 60 Kota Batiks from Moda's fabric collection.  I was free to do what I wanted to do with this....!  Of course this is something that doesn't need to be asked twice.  And after making some color combinations, I started with 'Curling Colours'.  It had to be a challenge for quilters to make a quilt with these 60 colors.  I think I succeeded in this. 

When you like paper piecing and New York Beauty arches, you can enter this class with heart and soul.  The pattern is relatively easy, but you need to be very accurate in sewing.  The joy of this quilt is that it will hold your attention: the large baby blocks on the background, the curling and curved lines play all over this quilt and keep sparkling."

 Surprisingly Red

'Surprisingly Red' is a 2-day workshop for the 'advanced quilter' who already has knowledge of the paper piecing technique.

"During this workshop we will handle not only the round shapes and spikes in this quilt, but we will also handle the small stars as well as the compass star."
