Come Sew with us . . . For beginner sewers ages 8-12!
The Sew Biz for Kids program allows the inner designer to come out and create their very own masterpiece from the initial inspiration to finished project.
In this class, students will learn the basics of choosing and caring for fabrics, sewing machine use, basic sewing techniques including sewing on buttons, casings, zippers, basic quilting, and hand sewing.
Students will go home with a finished project at the end of each class. Projects include tissue holder, needle holder book, log cabin mug rug, mobile phone or ipad holder, draw string bag and a zipper pouch.
Sewing machines and supplies for each project will be provided for all kids’ courses.
Each student should come prepared with their own basic sewing supplies as outlined in the Supply List
Classes are held on the following days in the Newmarket location:
Wednesday, 4-5:30pm; February 1, 8, 15 & 22
Class Fee: $85 (includes materials)
